My ambition was to get a good job here in New Zealand, in a good company with good people, and I achieved this very easily after studying the National Diploma in Quantity Surveying. I wanted to enter the field of construction management so I came to the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic specifically to study Quantity Surveying. I think this qualification is very good for getting a job in New Zealand as all the quantity surveyors working in the industry here have the National Diploma. After getting my qualification I got a job offer straight away, even before I graduated. I am an Estimator for a big manufacturing company. When people ask me how I got my job, I tell them that I got it very easily.” Sewwandi Nisansala Rupasinghe APPLy Apply online at www.boppoly.ac.nz/international or contact our International Student Office.
