Write About!! Students will use the app Write About to write an essay using random pictures and prompts. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. Using the ipad, find the app named Write About. Tap the Circle titled RANDOM. A picture will appear and will have a prompt or question along the bottom. Using a Circle map you will need to first brainstorm your ideas and then organize your thoughts. You may do this in your notebook. Remember that brainstorming is an IMPORTANT part to the writing process, so write as MUCH as you can think of. You may not use all of it in your essay, but having everything on your paper will help! Once you have completed brainstorming and organizing, you will now begin your essay. You must have at least 1-2 paragraphs. **Each paragraph has 5 GOOD sentences.** Writing Checklist: a. Do you have at least 1-2 paragraphs? b. Do you have at least 5 GOOD sentences in each paragraph? c. Did you check spelling and grammar errors? d. Did you stay on topic? e. Did you reread your story? When you are finished, turn your essay in for a grade. Remember you must use proper heading and watch your margins as well.
