“Gender Differences in Economic Behavior”
We offer a Master thesis (or Bachelor thesis for students with prior knowledge on
behavioral economics and suitable qualification) on the topic “Gender Differences in
Economic Behavior” at the Chair of Political Economy (ECON).
Do males and females differ systematically in specific domains of economic behavior?
What have we learned from experimental economic research so far? The scope of this
thesis is to create a literature review on gender differences in well-known and
established economic experiments. Potential focus areas are moral and pro-social
behavior, risk taking, competitiveness, … Besides a literature overview, own follow-up
experimental designs can be part of the thesis as well.
