Madikwe is a very beautiful Private Game Reserve where the Big 5 roams free in
a malaria free environment. Not only does it host the big 5, but also home to
wild dog, cheetah and so many other special animals like pangolin aardvark and
a host of birds.
Madikwe is on the border to Botswana and is a 5 hour drive west from
Johannesburg. With beautifully appointed Lodges you can explore the reserve
with your field guide, all professionally qualified to unpack this beautiful natural
part of the Kalahari.
Apart from the game drives on the reserve, there are also possibilities of doing
wild walks with a riffled ranger, visit the …… and possibly hot air balloon over
the plains of Madikwe.
There are 14 lodges in the reserve. We have partnered with the following lodges
in order to bring the beauty of the Kalahari to you.
