Creative Gippsland is a network of the six Gippsland councils, who come together to promote our fabulous
arts and cultural community with activities and events.
Creative Gippsland welcomes you to May!
This will be the seventh Gippsland-wide, month of May-filled celebration of the region's creativity.
Creative Gippsland are thrilled to announce this year's celebration will be ‘Come and Play – All of May’, a
Celebration of the Arts of Gippsland. The theme will be to get people visiting, participating, learning and
buying!
Masterclasses, Workshops, Artist talks and Demonstrating Artists will be at the forefront.
People are encouraged to think about how they might be able to be involved.
We also welcome events that break away from the theme, as in previous years, events, music, performances,
workshops, installations and more.
If you are planning to do an event in public, you may need a permit. Please contact Council’s Events Team.
If you do not have public liability insurance, you can partner with a community group. You could also partner
with a winery, restaurant, accommodation business, or other arts event to put together a special deal to
encourage our visitors to stay longer and enjoy Bass Coast!
You need to think carefully how you will promote your individual event – the more promotion the better!
