Vanessa Martinez Lagunas’s coaching credentials includes her UEFA (the Union of European Football Associations) Pro license as she served as the
Intern Coach with the FC Energie Cottbus Men's Team, The United States Soccer Federation (USSF) National "A" Coaching License, USSF National
Goalkeeping License and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Premier Diploma. From 2009-11, she was an assistant coach
with the U17/U16 German women's national team as well as the FC Lokomotive Leipzig Women. She is also a certified strength and conditioning
specialist with Certification from the National Strength Coaches Association and an ACE Personal Training Certification.As a player, Vanessa
Martinez Lagunas was a member of the Mexico's Women's National Team from 1999-2004 and competed for Mexico at the 2001 Summer
Universiade in Beijing.
Her theory session will provide coaches with a general overview of important physical, technical, tactical and psychosocial
considerations to coach female soccer players more effectively.
The practical session, will show coaches how they can apply these recommendations during their training sessions.
