“And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if
he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your trespasses to one another,
and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of
a righteous man avails much.”
James 5:15 & 16

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
Dedication Sunday will be on November 13th
How to pack a Shoe Box?
Use an empty shoe box (standard size) or a small
plastic container. Determine whether your gift will
be for a boy or a girl and the child's age category: 2
- 4, 5 - 9, or 10 -14. Get the proper boy/girl label
from Jodi Rinehart or on the table in the lobby.
Mark the correct age category on the label and tape
the label to the top of your box.
Suggestive Gifts: School supplies, small toys, hygiene items (mild bar of
soap in a plastic bag) a personal note with a picture of yourself or your
family.
Pack your shoe box with love, send it with prayer and share the Good News
of Jesus Christ! That's the power of a simple gift. Bring your boxes to the
church on Sunday, November 13th! Any questions see Jodi Rinehart.
Help is needed to Decorate the Sanctuary for the Harvest/Thanksgiving and/or
Advent – Please contact Holly Hall or Sheri Maurer if you would like to help
decorate. Harvest Home Decorations need to be up by Sunday, November 13 th and
then changed to Advent after November 20th.
C.U.P. – First Church is responsible for Peanut Butter for the month of November.
Please remember those in need.
Thank you to everyone who helped with the Chicken BBQ and to anyone who
donated cookies. We really appreciated it and we made a profit of $675.05 for the
Roof Fund.
Thank you so very much!!
