• Was from Miniet-Yamin,
Egypt. Also known as St.
Freig.
• Worked on farm - carried
salt to sell on small camel
named “Roweiss” (means
small head)
• In humility, called himself
“Roweiss”
• During persecutions went
to Cairo
St. Roweis
• Wandered from place to
place, no home to stay
• Spent most nights in deep
prayers & tears
• Very sad for people who
lived in sin
• Lived in small storage for 9
years until departure
• Performed many wonders,
healing the sick,
prophesying, and saving
many

“DIRTY” - sinning
& not confessing
• Close to God:
“CLEAN” - stop
sinning & confess
GOD LOVES YOU !
• God is all SEEING &
KNOWING
• Keep yourselves

• Use holy THOUGHTS,
WORDS & ACTIONS
“But I tell you, Do not swear at all: either by
heaven, for it is God's throne” Matthew 5:34
PRAYER gives us VICTORY!
• The devils always fight us,
and try to take us away
from God
• The devil is VERY powerful,
like a “strong man”
• But God is MUCH MORE
powerful, “a stronger man”
• When we pray, God helps
us to defeat our enemy
(the devil)
PRAYER gives us VICTORY!
• Beware of the devil’s tricks!
• He makes you feel:
– BUSY… no time to pray
– TIRED … no energy to pray
– DISTRACTED … no concentration to pray
FIGHT !
• Do NOT give into the devil’s tricks
“Resist the devil, and he will
flee from you” (James 4:7)
