Real World Problem
 Puppies chew up comfortable outside dog beds, and
you want them to be warm and cozy. My dad and I
have invented the Puppy Proof Bed, so your dogs can
be nice and cozy.
Market Research
 We found other dog warmer beds, but they
looked flimsy and they cost about $150!
Material Research
 My Dad and I researched for materials after our
first design session.

Bed Construction
 My Dad and I built a prototype bed for Scout (my
dog) to test…but I had to try it first!
Final Design
 Our testing showed that Scout could get the soft bed out of our frame,
so we built a firm pegboard cover with a “soft” carpet on top.
 The weather has been warmer now, and Scout still seems scared of the
bed.
Additional Testing
 We brought the bed to my Grandma’s house for
her dog to use. Annie loved it!
