TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE SONERA
ONE EURO SUNDAY EXTRA AGREEMENT
1. General
3. Conclusion and termination of the agreement
When a customer concludes a Sonera One euro Sunday Extra agreement, the
rates specified for the customer’s subscription type on the valid price list valid
are applied and the customer gains the benefits described in these terms for the
duration of the One euro Sunday Extra agreement.
The One euro Sunday Extra agreement becomes effective as Sonera
accepts the order submitted by the customer. Sonera sends the
customer a confirmation of the agreement’s entry into force by SMS to
the customer’s Sonera One euro Sunday Extra subscription or by e-mail
or by mail to the customer’s billing address. If the customer has ordered
the One euro Sunday Extra service by using a remote communications
medium, the customer is entitled to cancel the agreement within 14 days
from the entry into force of the agreement by contacting Sonera Customer
Service. In such a case, Sonera has the right to obtain a reasonable
compensation from the customer for any benefit the customer may
already have used.
Special features of the One euro Sunday Extra agreement:
- standard-rate domestic calls and text messages for a total of max. €1/Sunday;
- fixed-term agreement period of 18 months;
- subscription agreements connected to the One euro Sunday Extra agreement
cannot be terminated with effect in the middle of the agreement period.
In the Sonera One euro Sunday Extra agreement the customer specifies the
subscription numbers to be connected to the agreement. The customer must
be the owner of the subscriptions in question.
By this agreement, the terms of the customer’s Sonera Mobile Subscriptions on
which he/she has made a One euro Sunday Extra agreement (hereafter Sonera
One euro Sunday Extra subscription) are amended. If there is any contradiction
between the terms of the Sonera One euro Sunday Extra agreement and the
terms of the service agreement on a Sonera Mobile Subscription or Sonera’s
General Delivery Terms concerning Services, the terms of the Sonera One
euro Sunday Extra agreement have priority and are applied to the contractual
relationship between Sonera and the customer.
2. Benefits
Standard-rate domestic calls and text messages from a Sonera One euro
Sunday Extra subscription on Sundays (00.00 am to 00.00 pm) cost max. €1/
Sunday/subscription in total. The benefit does not apply to calls made to DNA’s
Prepaid subscriptions (for example, 04147, 04148, 04149, 04156, 04157, 04158,
04170, 04177, 04178, 04491 and 04492-prefixed numbers) or to subscriptions
where the recipient gains benefits based on the calls he/she receives. The
above limitation does not apply to text messages.
Note: The benefit applies only to standard-rate domestic calls and text
messages and to Home Call calls. The benefit is not applied, for example, to
calls to service or universal access numbers, international calls, calls made
abroad, data calls or data transfer. In subscriptions with a call or SMS package,
where the monthly charge contains call minutes or text messages, the calls and
text messages covered by One euro Sunday Extra reduce the package’s call
minutes or text messages by a maximum of one euro’s worth.
The Sonera One euro Sunday Extra agreement is valid for a fixed
term of eighteen (18) months (hereafter: agreement period). If the
customer does not renew the agreement before the expiry of the
agreement period, the benefit is automatically terminated at the end
of the agreement period.
With regard to disconnection of the service and termination of the
agreement, Sonera’s General Delivery Terms for Consumer Customers
concerning Services are applied.
After the expiry of the Sonera One euro Sunday Extra agreement, the
terms of the service agreement on a Sonera Mobile Subscription and
Sonera’s General Delivery Terms for Consumer Customers concerning
Services are applied to the contractual relationship between the customer
and Sonera.
4. Other terms
Unless otherwise agreed in the Sonera One euro Sunday Extra agreement,
the terms of the service agreement on a Sonera Mobile Subscription and
Sonera’s General Delivery Terms for Consumer Customers concerning
Services are applied to the contractual relation between the customer and
Sonera. The terms of the supplementary services of the Sonera Mobile
Subscription are not changed by the Sonera One euro Sunday Extra
agreement, but potential service-specific terms and Sonera’s General
Delivery Terms for Consumer Customers concerning Services are applied
to them.
Sonera is entitled to amend these terms by sending the customer an SMS
notification to the customer’s Sonera One euro Sunday Extra subscription
number or by notifying the customer by email or by mail to the customer’s
billing address at the latest one (1) month before the end of the agreement
period. The change then enters into force at the end of the fixed-term
agreement period.
