Who can apply?
What can we offer?
ÌÌCoR members and their local and regional authorities
Subject to the evaluation and to the availability of financial
resources, the CoR can offer services for:
ÌÌEU regions, provinces and cities
ÌÌNational associations representing regional and
local interests
ÌÌModerators’ costs
ÌÌInterpreting (max 3 languages)
ÌÌMedia and communication activities
Let’s talk about Europe!
The European Committee of the Regions (CoR) invites
citizens to talk about Europe at local events. The CoR will:
ÌÌsupport proposed local events to be held in EU
Member States on European topics
ÌÌbe a partner of events together with other EU
institutions and local and regional administrations
What elements are
we looking for?
ÌÌOne or more CoR members actively involved as
speaker(s)
ÌÌEvents with an open and participatory format
ÌÌA link to the CoR’s political priorities and its annual
communication plan
What type of events
can receive support?
ÌÌCitizens Dialogues: an open debate with citizens, in
particular young people, on the EU political agenda
and the future of Europe
ÌÌStakeholders’ Dialogues: participatory format to
debate with local and regional stakeholders on the
preparation and follow-up of CoR opinions to directly
contribute to the CoR consultative work
ÌÌConference or seminars: to exchange knowledge
and good practice among EU cities and regions on
EU affairs and their regional impact
ÌÌA partnership with other EU institutions, their
national offices ( European Parliament information
offices, Permanent Representations of European
Commission), Europe Direct centres, and/or national
associations and networks of local and regional
authorities
ÌÌReimbursement of travel costs and accommodation
for CoR members

Make sure to:
ÌÌread the provisions for local events
ÌÌfill in the form available online
ÌÌpresent your proposal at least three months before
the proposed date of your event
ÌÌinclude all the information required such as
objectives, concept, tasks, budget outline, draft
programme of the event
