CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
All Entries accompanied by correctly completed entry forms to be in the hands of the Secretary,
Gympie Showgrounds, Exhibition Rd, Gympie by 4pm FRIDAY 5th MAY 2017 and collected from
the show office from Tuesday 23rd May to Friday 26th May 2016. Any photos or prizemoney left
after this date will become the property of the Gympie Show Society.
NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
1. Suitable display facilities will be provided to protect entries and all care will be taken with prints,
but NO LIABILITY ACCEPTED. Due to lack of hanging space, some entries may NOT be
displayed.
2. No print that has won a place at any previous Gympie Show will be eligible for judging.
3. The society reserves the right to withhold from judging or display any entry that does not comply
with any of the listed conditions.
4. Limit of four entries to each competitor in each class.
5. Exhibits cannot compete in more than one class.
6. Prize money not collected by 26th May 2017, will be deemed a donation to the Society as stated
in the Society’s Rules and Regulations.
7. Prints must be mounted separately on stiff card, MINIMUM THICKNESS 2.5mm with a
Maximum thickness 6mm. Unless photos are mounted on correct thickness card the print will
not be able to be displayed at the Gympie Show. Name and address, Class number and Title
MUST appear on the back of each mount. NO FRAMES!
8. Judging will be carried out in the Madill Room, at 7:30pm on Saturday 13th May 2017. Members of
the public are most welcome to attend.
