Men's Grooming in March /April 2017
We are dedicating the months of March and April to gentlemen's grooming.
Accuracy and precision are paramount in men's hair cut trends today. The styles
range from practically shaved on the sides and back with long smooth tops, to the
crop that is one inch all over the top. Textured tops and longish bangs create a
playful and fun style for men too. Also, the more fashionable men are wearing parts
cut into the scalp in perfect lines. All the newest men's looks are styled and
finished. Drying the hair with a towel and walking out the door is a thing of the past.

Many men have been escorted into our
salon by their girlfriends or wives. Some
find us on their own. What we have learned
over the years is that men want to look
handsome without too much work. How

make a huge difference. After a month,
most men are shaggy and need a cleanup. We keep appointments available for

men's grooming products is an important
part of our service too. We offer beard
trims, eyebrow shaping and even neck
waxing for a smooth clean look. In addition,
hair coloring is no longer taboo for men,

are experts in men's cutting and grooming,

Beards are Back!
More and more, beards are becoming acceptable in the workplace. Masculine is the word
for beards today. Fashion is calling for a well-groomed and maintained medium-length
beard. Beards without a mustache or mutton chops are a thing of the past. Keep in mind,
that beards need to be shampooed, conditioned and trimmed to be considered in style.
We offer beard and eyebrow trims to keep you from looking like a mad scientist! Some
men prefer a more controlled beard and use a small amount of wax or pomade to groom
their beards.

How To Choose The Right Mitch Styling Product
Ask yourself these three questions first:
#1 Strength of Hold- Want to freeze-frame the look, or desire flexibility?
#2 Degree of Shine- Fashion or function? Shine dresses up the look, but is a disaster on
thinning hair. Thin hair looks best with a more natural or matte finish.
#3 Ease of Use- Don't forget that less is more when it comes to styling products. Keep it
simple, especially if you are new to using styling products.

Cheese Dip
2 lbs. Velveeta Cheese
1-lb. Hot Italian sausage
1-4oz. can mild diced green chiles
Tortilla chips for dipping
In 3 quart slow-cooker on high, melt 2 lbs. Velveeta Cheese cut into chunks. This takes
approximately one hour. While cheese is melting, fry in a 12 inch skillet, 1lb. Hot Italian
sausage, casings removed. While frying, chop sausage into small crumbles with spatula.
Drain on paper towels.Put sausage into melted cheese along with 1-4oz. can diced mild
green chiles. Turn heat to low and stir well. Serve hot with tortilla chips. Great for parties.
