Please read these notes carefully before completing your entry form.
Use this form to enter NATIONAL or REGIONAL horse driving trials competitions.
Competitors in all classes (except Evolution and Young Horse) must be current British Carriagedriving
members. Competitors in National Novice classes may compete at Regional and National events as
Associate members.
IF THE ENTRY FORM IS NOT COMPLETED CORRECTLY OR IS ILLEGIBLE,
THE EVENT SECRETARY HAS THE RIGHT TO RETURN IT AND REFUSE ENTRY !

PAYMENT
You should return the entry form to the event organiser with TWO cheques:
 The Entry fee, payable to the event organiser
 The Start fee, payable to British Carriagedriving

Each event sets their own entry fees, which are given in the schedule.
Please make cheques payable to the event, as shown in the schedule.
No acknowledgement of your entry will be made unless a stamped addressed envelope is enclosed.
START FEES
You must pay the start fee AT THE SAME TIME AS YOUR ENTRY FEE.
Enclose a separate cheque, payable to “British Carriagedriving”.
If you are unable to start at the event, your start fee cheque will be returned to you.

EVENT SCHEDULES
National and Regional driving trials schedules are available to download from the British Carriagedriving
website www.britishcarriagedriving.co.uk or from the event organiser.
INTERNATIONAL SELECTION CLASSES
A completed International Team Selection Form must be forwarded to the British Carriagedriving Office prior to the event or, at
the very latest, be handed to a British Carriagedriving Council Member prior to you starting at your first selection event, i.e. this
must be before you begin your Dressage Test! (Selection Forms can be downloaded from the web site or obtained from your
Class Representative).
PROHIBITED SUBSTANCES
If the driver is under 18 years of age, the name of a responsible adult (over 18) who will be able to attend in case the driver’s
horse(s) are selected for drug testing, must be given on the entry form.

Neither the Organising Committee of any Horse Driving Trials to which British Carriage Driving Rules apply, nor British Carriage Driving,
nor any landowner, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, save for the death or personal injury caused by
negligence of the organisers or any one for whom they are in law responsible, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury
or illness to horses, owners, drivers, grooms, spectators, land or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their
negligence, breach of contract, or in any way whatsoever. The organisers of events take reasonable precautions to ensure the health
and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent
accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards.
