Aim of the workshop:
Provide advice on the implementation of urban mixed-use
development planning and zoning in cities. Provide specific
guidance on methods, practices, tools and guidelines for the
promotion of environmentally sound mixed use development
planning focused on mid-sized cities. Provide specific guidance on
the legislation enacted in EU Member States for urban mixed-use
development; its linkage with local planning rules and guidelines;
and EU best practice in dealing with objections and opposition to its
implementation.
