OLD BUSINESS
Rec Council Grant
Has it been received?
We have yet to receive confirmation. It is disappointing that there continues to be a
breakdown in communication.
During tonight’s meeting, Angela emailed Ivan for an update.
Unsightly premises
Unsightly premise: Civic address 2308 Lincoln Road
- Stan contacted Morrison. Email reply from Morrison (Oct. 3rd) explained that it is
vacant, not unsightly.
Warming Centre
Update
- 3rd draft of MOU emailed Oct 23 from Dave to committee. It was sent to Jason Cooling
- From Ivan Corbett (email Oct 24th)
“By my calculation, the total grant the Baptist Church is requesting for the EMO project
is $39,440.00.
You can proceed with the project. However, please note that due to budgetary
constraints, the project needs to be completed in 2 phases.
2016: Phase 1 $27,500.00 plus HST
2017: Phase 2 $11,940 plus HST
The Baptist Church will send two invoices to us for these 2 phases (you can refer to it on
the invoice as the Lincoln EMO Project Grant). One can be sent in 2016, and one after
January 1 2017.
Invoices in these amounts from the contractor must accompany the invoices from the
church as backup.”
- Lindsey emailed Lincoln kennel for information re: pet shelter in case of an emergency.
He is waiting for a reply.

- The postal code appears not to exist; however, the resident continues to receive mail.
