Fun with the Greenhouse Effect http://spaceplace.nasa.gov/ greenhouse-gas-attack “Greenhouse Gas Attack” on NASA’s kids’ website, The Space Place, is a fun, fast-moving game that helps kids understand greenhouse effect and how adding greenhouse gases to the air makes Earth warmer. Colored blocks stand for different kinds of greenhouse gases. Check out Greenhouse Gas Attack! Yellow “sunlight” balls shine through the atmosphere, bounce off Earth's surface, turning to red heat energy balls, which get stuck within the atmosphere if there's too much greenhouse gas. Player clears out greenhouse gas blocks by hitting them with a "metal" ball using the paddle at the bottom of the screen. Player wins when enough heat balls escape the atmosphere to bring the temperature down into the "normal" green range on the thermometer. 1 Earth-orbiting satellites come by and drop 'power-ups' for you that will help in the game.
