lets you take charge of your search for doctors, hospitals, clinics and procedures.
The new search tool features simple navigation and mobile-friendly design for easy access whether you
are on your smartphone, tablet or computer.
Explore your options by looking up procedures, specialties, facility types, physicians or quality scores.
Enhance your search by sorting search results by name, distance, gender or languages spoken. Log in to
view the estimated costs of more than 70 procedures.

What’s It Cost? Search Find a Doctor to Learn More
The Alliance provider network offers Find a Doctor as your online path to finding a doctor, hospital or
another health care service.
Find a Doctor’s most exciting feature is the ability to look up cost information on more than 70
procedures. These cost estimates are based on actual costs experienced by past patients.
To use Find a Doctor, visit www.the-alliance.org and click the Find a Doctor Button. Only people who are
on a health plan that uses The Alliance network can log in to see cost estimates on Find a Doctor.

Did Your Hospital Get an ‘A’ or an ‘F’?
Getting quality care can help you recover faster. That’s why the Find a Doctor service provided by The
Alliance shares Hospital Safety Scores from The Leapfrog Group.
Hospitals are rated from the highest grade of an ‘A’ to the lowest grade of an ‘F.’ Grades are based on
how often these things happen to people staying overnight in the hospital:



Injuries
Infections
Medical errors
To see the scores of hospitals near you, go to www.the-alliance.org and click the Find a Doctor button.
Look for the “Search By” section and click “Quality Score” and then select “Hospital Safety Score.”
