International contact making seminar

WHY?
This Partnership Building Activity is an opportunity to meet new possible
project partners/promoters working with youngsters, coming from Youth in
Action programme countries, Macedonia and Croatia, and to set up
international projects within the framework of the Programme.
The point that this event will take is:
-
AIMS AND
OBJECTIVES
to support users of the Programme to identify and develop common
initiatives;
to promote cross-regional cooperation in the framework of the
cooperation with Programme Countries;
to establish and create new sustainable partnerships trough exploring
and learning about the Programme;
to promote the Macedonian National Agency (current position and
upcoming expected developments and work plan).
By the end of the International contact making seminar we expect that
participants will have:




New partners for transnational co-operation and /or project
development
Had the opportunity to work on project ideas with their new project
partners.
exchange good practice and experiences in the preparation and
implementation of projects (new innovative methods and
approaches);
Explored the possibilities and priorities of Youth in Action.

40 Participants from: Programme Countries (25) + Macedonia (10) and
Croatia (5)





TEAM
Participants working with young people on national or international
level.
Participants working directly with young people.
Participants who are looking for international partner(s) to prepare
and develop new projects under the Youth in Action programme.
Participants are at least 18 years of age and are able to communicate
in English.
Participants should have interest to exchange good practice and
experiences in preparation and implementation of the projects with
less experienced participants.
The seminar will be facilitated by an international team of experienced
trainers.

DATES AND VENUE
OF THE SEMINAR
The seminar starts on Thursday the 13th of October in the evening and ends
on Saturday the 17 th of October after lunch.
All participants will be picked up from Skopje Airport on Thursday the 13th
of October at 17.00 pm by bus.

Double and single room accommodation is provided for participants.
COSTS
Participants from Programme countries:
Board, lodging and program costs will be provided and paid by the National
Agency for European Education Programme and Mobility in Macedonia.
The travel costs will be reimbursed by the National Agency for European
Education Programme and Mobility in Macedonia
Participants will be informed about requirements for reimbursement
upon confirmation of their participation in the seminar
Participants from Croatia:
Board, lodging and travel cost will be paid by the National Agency for
Mobility and EU Programmes in Croatia, in condition that the National
Agency supports the participation of the applicant.
HOW TO APPLY?
Please fill in the application form and send this by 18th September 2009 at
latest to your National Youth Agency.
SELECTION
Your National Agency will make a pre-selection by 21st September at
latest.
PROCEDURE
The final selection will be communicated on the 23rd September 2009.
