complete attire; gloves.
Very limited

required.
• Regular inspection.
Set up stalls

FACILITIES
Poor sports facilities

Problems
Hard to get sport
equipments
- Have to travel to Bangi
Upgrade the sports facilities
1. Provide self-rent bicycle services
 Matrics card should be used to rent bicycle.
 This effort is toward “green campus”.
 Can rent and park at different colleges or faculties.
2. Availability of free sport equipmentS
• Students can easily borrow sports equipment.
• Broken sports equipment need to be replace by the
student himself.
• In order to promote healthy lifestyle
to students.
PROBLEM 4:
STUDENT LIFE CENTRE
PROBLEMS WE FACE:
Lack of leisure,
recreational and
entertainment facilities
Lack of discussion and
meeting rooms
Lack of interaction
between students from
different courses or
faculties
 Increasing level of
stress among the
students.
 No space or lounge
for students to relax

activities
Good wireless internet
connection
A huge television set for
large number of viewers
during important sports
games or TV news
Provide more discussion
rooms
An interactive center
where students can
interact and mingle around
PROBLEM 5:
POOR ENERGY
MANAGEMENT
Why need to save energy?
Save Money
Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions
Reduce Air Pollution
Invest in power-saving technologies.
Installation of
Timers and
Other Energy
Saving Devices
•This is an energy-saving software product
that turns off company lights, airconds,
desktops and laptop PCs that are
connected to the internal network each
night.
HOW?
Explore alternative energy.
•Alternative energy can be an
intimidating investment. It's
expensive and still relatively new.
Example: Solar or wind power.
Eliminate
unneeded
cooling, remove
or unplug unused
equipments
CONCLUSION
Thus, this UKM KL campus needs a major
makeover as a jumpstart towards improving the
facilities in the university to achieve the world
class university title in the near future. To make
this happen, students must work together with
the student council and the administration
board to improve the current facilities and
develop new ones to occupy the students’ needs.
