You can talk with a member of the Children’s Centre Team to find out when the next course is starting and if it is the right course for you. Internet Access The reception area internet facility is free of charge for Longsight families to access information you may need or job search. What’s On… at Longsight Children’s Centre July- August 2016 Mondays Wednesdays Stay and Play 1:00pm – 2:30pm Play and learn together with your child and get ready for school! Time for you Crèche 9.30am-11.30am A six weekly crèche service for children whilst their mums, dads and carers access services and support their need. Please talk with your support worker, health visitor or a Children’s Centre team member to apply for your place. To ensure children’s safety & quality services places are limited. Please phone the centre on Monday morning to book your child’s place. We Offer WellComm Screening to all children who attend the session, please speak to an outreach worker for more information. Healthy Child Drop in with Information & Play 1.30 – 2.30pm Receive support and information you need, Talk with the health team and weigh your baby. Parent Survival Course (CAP’s) 12.30-3.30 pm 15 week sessions for mums, dads and carers of children 2-4 years who want to learn positive parenting strategies. Tuesdays Midwives (by appointment) 9:00am – 4.00pm Come and see the community Midwives for check-ups, support, advice and information. Supporting you.... We work together with Self Help Services to offer support for people experiencing common difficulties such as depression, anxiety and low mood.
