Murrayfield Diversion – due to floodwork
From Pansy Walk to the Ice Rink – signage should be in place, from the Balgreen Garden head up
Pansy walk turn right under the railwayline and right down Baird Drive. Follow the roads along the river
side and cross back into the Park at the Ice Rink (should this bridge be closed just continue ahead onto
Corstorphine Road and turn right. Re-join the walkway at Roseburn Cliff.
Dean Valley Diversion – due to landslide
The black line show the diversion route
between Belford Road and the Dean
Village. Walking downstream - When you
meet the diversion barriers there is a
bridge on the right. Proceed across the
bridge and head for Sunbury Mews - go to
the top of the mews, briefly join Belford
Road, turn left and then go along
Hawthornbank Lane, look out for the
houses with a vennel archway – head
through and you will see the next bridge
which will take you across to Well Court .
This is the point where you rejoin the
walkway.
