English Ice Hockey Association GIRLS Activator Training As part of the Summer of Girls Hockey, the EIHA is looking to train a pool of activators that will be made up of at least one person from every club. The EIHA will assist them in gaining the knowledge and skills required to raise awareness of their club and actively recruit new members. Additionally, participants will be given the opportunity to develop skills in the delivery of recruitment initiatives and Learn To Play. We are aiming to provide all clubs with the skills to: Run recruitment initiatives Actively promote themselves Along with providing training and resources for clubs, we look to create a network of like-minded people whose interest is in moving the sport forward. Activator training is open to anyone involved in female hockey that has a passion and desire to see the sport grow. During the session attendees will experience first hand the planning and delivery of a Girls Hockey Day as well as learning about a variety of recruitment initiatives.
