Easter Show Saturday PM Show 30th April Class 1- Ridden Show This is where you will go out as a ride into the arena and show off your position and how well your pony listens to you. Remember to smile as you may get extra points for this too! Class 2- Mounted Games A new addition to our show you will be overcoming obstacles with other pony clubbers and we will test your ability to ride with one hand! Leaders are also available for this class. Class 3- Show-Jumping A full show-jumping course will be set up, you will need to remember your course and jump clear, smaller pony clubbers will have a leader and do not need to remember their course but a nice jumping position will help you get more points! (Also note you can walk the course 5 minutes before the class starts.) Name Class # Requested Pony Office Use Only ChildrenThe judge’s decision is final; they are the ones in the middle with the clip board so remember to smile at them!! It might get you more points! I know you want your favourite pony but we might not be able to give you the pony you want in all the classes. Remember that all our ponies are very nice and if you are nice to them they will be very happy! We will have leaders for you if you want so if you are nervous please tell either Laura and Abigail or Becky and Louise and we will make sure you have a leader with you when you want. I know it’s really uncomfortable but we would like you to look very smart for the first class (Showing) this will also get you extra points!! But for the games and show-jumping you can dress up!! This means anything Easter themed! (Including onsies!) And you can even dress your pony up as well, the more creative the better!! But remember some of the pony’s don’t like it as much as others so make sure one of the staff helps you! We will split you into two groups throughout the day and when your group is waiting please go to the log cabin and cheer for the other team! AdultsThe Show will start at 1:00pm until 4:00pm and is £16 per class or £35 for all three. Please be aware that on show day the ponies will also be exited so we ask you to do a few things to help the day run as smooth as possible! The more supporters for the child/ children the better but please ensure you stay at the log cabin area throughout the show. The Riding School is very small and with children, ponies, staff and leaders there is little room for the pony clubbers family and friends as well. If the child is nervous we will allow 1 person per child in to comfort them and support them as it can be a little scary for them especially if it is their first show. We ask that no dogs be allowed on the yard, no umbrellas and all children not in pony club be accompanied with an adult at all times. Also please note the yard is a no smoking area, if you wish to smoke please do so in your car or at the end of the drive on Forehouse Road. Please feel free to bring cameras and take as many pictures as you can and please share them on our Facebook page! Thank you! Have fun and happy Easter from everyone at Wardhouse!!
