Tenpin Bowling Australia Limited will support the following Australian teams in international competition during 2017:




2017 World Senior Championships – Unterföhring, Munich, Germany (4 Men & 4 Women) = 1 Coach
19th Asian Youth Championships – Manila, Philippines (4 Men & 4 Women) = 1 Assistant Coach & 2
Team Manager (one female coach or manager required)
17th Asian School Championships – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (4 Boys & 4 Girls) = 2 Team Manager (one
female manager required)
2017 World Championships – Las Vegas, USA (6 Men) = 1 Assistant Coach
Tenpin Bowling Australia Limited seeks experienced accredited Coaches and Managers to support our National Coach
with the 2017 international teams. These positions are self-funded. However, a subsidy program is currently under
review to provide a minimal level of support to these positions. Experienced TBA Silver accredited Coaches &
accredited Managers are encouraged to apply by completing the application form included and provide a current
resume and covering letter outlining the applicant’s previous experience and skills that relate to the criteria outlined on
the next page.

Asian Youth Championships – Manila, Philippines from 21st – 28th October 2017
Asian School Championships – Kuching, Malaysia 11th – 17th November 2017

Interested Coach’s & Managers should submit their resume clearly outlining achievements at International, National and
State Level of teams/athletes they have coached or managed in the last 3 years.
To be selected for these roles the applicant must meet the following criteria:
Managers Position

Hold a current TBA Managers Certificate;

Hold a current First Aid Certificate;

Demonstrate recent experience in managing elite athletes and teams at a National level;

Have time available to attend the event;

Provide a current police check, or be prepared to provide a police check before being officially appointed
to the position; provide a current Working With Children (or equivalent) check and be prepared to comply
with Tenpin Bowling Australia Limited’s Code of Ethics, Member Protection Policy, and Social media
Policy; and

Be prepared to meet the criteria as an ambassador of the sport and TBA.
Coach / Assistant Coach Position

All applicants must be a TBA Silver accredited coach, recent experience in coaching elite athletes and
teams at a National level is essential to this role;

Have recent experience with video analysis software;

Be prepared to work with the team and coaching resources in Australia in the lead up to the event;

Have time available to attend the event;

Provide a current police check, or be prepared to provide a police check before being officially appointed
to the position; provide a current Working With Children (or equivalent) check and be prepared to comply
with Tenpin Bowling Australia Limited’s Code of Ethics, Member Protection Policy, and Social media
Policy; and

Be prepared to meet the criteria as an ambassador of the sport and TBA.

Coaches and Managers will be appointed by the High Performance committee. Interested individuals are invited to
submit an expression of interest for any of these teams, including their profile, to the National Office: via

facsimile – each nomination will be dated and time stamped upon receipt. Late nominations will not be accepted.
