Play Ball!!!!
Today, Registration begins for TREC-Thibodaux Recreation Department’s 2008
Summer Baseball/Softball Leagues. It is for all boys and girls, age 4-18 from
Tee-ball to Fast-Pitch Softball.
Registration Information:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays
and Fridays
Peltier Park from 8:30am-noon and
1:30pm until 4:00pm
Wednesdays
Peltier Park from 8:30am-noon and
1:30pm until 6:00pm
Saturday, April 19
Peltier Park from 9:00am until noon
The Last Day to Register is
Saturday April 26
Peltier Park from 9:00am until noon

The following leagues available:
Tee Ball: Boys and Girls age 4-5
Coach Pitch: Boys 6- Girls 6-7
Machine Pitch: Boys 7-8 -Girls 8-9
Baseball: Boys 9-14
Baseball Majors: Boys 15-17
Fast Pitch Softball: Girls 10-18
Mayor Caillouet stated, “I’m always encouraged by the increase of participants
each year in our summer programs and I look forward to seeing the kids playing
ball at our parks.”
League play for baseball/softball will start June 2 until July 24, ending with a
closing tournament on Monday, July 29-31 for all leagues except Tee-ball
leagues. Games times will vary from 5:00pm until 8:00pm with locations of
games at Peltier Park, Martin Luther King Park, and Daigle Park. This year there
is a flat fee of $30.00 for registration.
