1.General characteristics
1.1. Perimeter locking
•Totally clampable system for project-out windows based on the CHRONO turn and tilt technology.
•We have 2 base sets which vary according to the profile design:
-- N° 60141: with handle mounted on a horizontal profile surface: type 4000 or 30000.
-- N° 60142: with handle mounted on a vertical profile surface: type 502 or 5020.
•Windows higher and/or wider than 1200 mm must be provided with an additional centre locking set.
•The handle and the friction hinges are not included in the base set.
•All parts are made of non-corroding materials.
•Size range:
-- vent width: 600-2400 mm
-- vent height:300-2400 mm
-- vent weight:max. 180 kg
•N.B.: the minimum and maximum vent width, vent height and vent weight depend on the type
of friction hinge.
•Dimensions out of standard range on request!
1.2. Friction hinges
•The perimeter locking set is suitable to apply with the friction hinges series P691-... which are selected
in accordance with the width, the height and the weight of the vent. See table below. Advice should be
sought from Sobinco when the sizes of your window differ from these dimensions.
•The maximum vent weight should never be exceeded!
•The vent movement must always be checked because there’s a chance that the vent will hit the frame
when opening the window. The smaller the hinge, the bigger the risk. It’s sufficient to provide us a CAD
drawing of the profile cross sections.
•For windows with a vent width of more than 100 kg, we recommend
to use an additional window stay with friction device.
•We refer to chapter F11.13 for more details regarding the hinges.

8.General information
•Attention! The maximum dimensions, for which the project-out systems n° 60141 and n° 60142 can be
used, are determined by the type of friction hinge used. Technical advice should be sought when the sizes
of your window differ from these dimensions.
•The project-out system is made of non-corroding materials. The set should not be installed in corrosive
atmospheres.
•Sobinco cannot be held responsible for the malfunctioning of the project-out system if any non-Sobinco
parts are used.
•All parts must be assembled according to the instructions as described in previous pages.
•Surface treatment of vent and frame must take place before assembly of the set, as this will affect the
working of the gear.
•Glazing must be in accordance with national standards.
•The window and gear should be kept clean and lubricated in accordance with our maintenance instructions
(copy available on request).
