THE AIM OF THIS JA IS TO:
• Showcase and contribute to the awareness of opportunities in the geothermal sector
and stimulate growth of the geothermal industry in Europe
• Stimulate the generation of new ideas/concepts and create new opportunities with
regard to direct utilization of low enthalpy geothermal energy and geothermal
technology
• Encourage collaboration and knowledge exchange between existing projects and
companies working on "Geothermal New Concepts"
Crucial in this JA is showing and stimulating new opportunities
Classification of Joint Activity (JA1-JA3): JA1 which can develop into JA2 or JA3

- Two Events Proposed
Event 1.
A Showcase or Brokerage Event focusing on bringing together existing (demo/pilot)
projects within the field of "Geothermal New Concepts"
 Showing opportunities and enhancing cooperation and knowledge exchange.
Event 2.
An "Idea Factory" or a "World Café" that would focus on generating new ideas on
Geothermal Utilization or Technology and stimulate growth of the geothermal industry
in Europe.
 Emphasis on low enthalpy geothermal
