The Eagles Coaching Staff Assistant Baseball Coaches

The Eagles Coaching Staff
Tom Riginos finished
his sixth year as the
head baseball coach
at Winthrop University.
He brings with him a
18 year career as an
assistant division 1
coach and a great
deal of knowledge in
the game of baseball.
He worked under former Clemson Head
Coach Jack Leggett for (2002-2010) eight
years and served the last three years as the
associate head coach and recruiting coordinator. Prior to joining the Tigers staff, he
served at Stetson as the recruiting coordinator. While at Stetson, Riginos helped guide
the Hatters to five NCAA Regional appearances. During his Clemson tenure, the Tigers
advanced to seven NCAA Regional tournaments, three NCAA Super Regional's and two
College World Series appearances. In his
two years as Clemson’s recruiting coordinator (2008-10), Riginos brought in top-20 recruiting classes both years. At Stetson he
recruited eight nationally recognized classes,
six All-Americans and 10 freshman AllAmericans while with the Hatters.
