UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN STUDY SPACES
http://uunions.umich.edu/relax/study
The Unions offer a variety of places to study and relax to match the environment that you are
looking for. There are quiet study rooms, group gathering areas, computer stations, outdoor
areas and plenty of nooks with comfortable chairs or couches. All of the buildings have wireless
connectivity for you to use your laptop. Each of the buildings also provides computer stations for
you to be able to log into for free with your Kerberos password.
At the Michigan Union (MU), whether you choose quiet or group, outdoors or in, you will have
convenient access to many cafes and restaurants to keep you fueled, plus Barnes & Noble
bookstore for any supplies. The Michigan League (ML) provides a great place in the center of
campus to study before class, check e-mail, stop by U-go's Express or gather with friends at
Beanster's Coffee Shop or in the Underground. Pierpont Commons (PC) on North Campus is a
bright spot that offers a variety of lounges with easy access to 8 eateries, a Barnes & Noble
bookstore, and U-go's for grab 'n go snacks.
