Strategies for reducing chronic absenteeism

Roundtable Proposal Application
2013 CSHC Statewide Conference
On March 15, 2013, the California School Health Centers Association (CSHC) is hosting its annual
conference, Vision & Voice for Healthy Students, in Long Beach. We are looking for roundtable
facilitators to lead discussions on topics of interest to school health stakeholders.
We are open to proposals on any school health topic, including, but definitely not limited to:
 Dispensing birth control and other medications on school sites
 School-based immunization clinics
 Meeting the needs of rural communities
 Partnering with “minute clinics” (e.g., pharmacy clinics)
 Innovative fundraising for school health services
 Payment and cash flow systems for SBHCs
 Maximizing federal HRSA school-based health center grant awards
If your roundtable proposal is selected, you may receive a discounted conference registration rate of
$110, saving $20 off the early bird member rate. Additional facilitators are welcome but normal
registration rates will apply. [Note that facilitator discount applies only to main conference and not the
optional pre-conference.]
