TITLE: Assistant Coach EMPLOYER: Genesis Aquatic Centre LOCATION: Bray Park, Brisbane REPORTS TO: Genesis Aquatic Head Coach ROLE: Genesis Aquatic Centre is seeking to employ a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as an Assistant Aquatic Coach. This person will be responsible for providing the highest standard of Coaching to Genesis Aquatic Centre clientele. POSITION STATUS: 12 Month Contract, Full-Time Position KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Work within a team environment to create, maintain and promote a clean, well-organised and a harmonious and happy pool deck where customers are happy to attend regularly; Ensure equipment is cleaned and cleared daily and maintained to a high standard; Provide and maintain excellent service and assist customers with general sports precinct enquires; Assist aquatic reception staff when necessary with enquires relating to the aquatic centre through emails and phone calls; Ensure contact is made with all families to establish a repour with all aquatic centre & club clientele; Ensure attendance roles are kept up to date; Promote the Centre at every opportunity and provide excellent customer service; Understand the computer software programs including point of sale and memberships; Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the entire sports precinct. Attend regular staff meetings Ensure appropriate records are kept within Team Manager and Meet Manager; All Club administration records are to be kept up to date and filed appropriately; Producing annual meet calendars for all relevant clubs and updating regularly; Coordinating all club nights and club meets associated with Genesis; Ensure all stock and merchandise are accounted for and stored appropriately; Play a role in school sport when required; Assist Sports Precinct Manager and Assistant Manager with other tasks as required PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND SKILLS: Swim Australia Teacher of Competitive Swimming; ASCTA Bronze License Swimming Coach; First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate; Previous experience coaching children/adults in an aquatic environment Previous experience with Team Manager, Meet Manager and Microsoft Office; Ability to work well In a team as well as independently when required; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Demonstrated time management and organizational skills; Reliable and trustworthy.
