The students were chosen to advance to the Super Regional from among 23 teams that competed in
the Regional Tournament hosted by Byron Middle School in December of 2016.
FIRST LEGO League (FLL) is an international competition for elementary and middle school students,
ages 9 to 14. Guided by adult coaches, students research a real-world problem such as food safety,
recycling, energy, etc., and develop a solution. They also design, build and program a robot and then
compete on a playing field. The youth have fun as they learn to use science, technology,
engineering, and math (STEM) concepts and imagination to solve a problem. They also develop
critical thinking, team-building skills and presentation skills, as they must creatively present their
solutions to judges.
Feagin Mill Middle is located at 1200 Feagin Mill Road in Warner Robins. Dr. Jesse Davis serves as
principal. Huntington Middle is located at 206 Wellborn Road in Warner Robins. Dr. Gwendolyn
Taylor serves as principal. For more information, please contact either the Museum’s Director of
