Mohr and Boone "NFLE Player of the Week" = 'Air Boone Express" takes
off
Four times already came the "Defence Player of the Week" from the Berlin
Thunders in this season. Now Defensive End Cristian Mohr and Wide
Receiver Aaron Boone were voted "National" and "Offensive Player of the
WeeK" after a 24:15 victory over Rhine Fire.
Mohr and Boone both had their best game of the season and guaranteed
the victory. Right before the end of the game Mohr caused a quarterbacksack against Fire-QB McBrien and achieved so the pivotal fumble. On top
he won 5 tackles.
Boone caught 8 passes, 112 yards and 1 touch down. Including last
season he already has 7 touchdowns for Berlin Thunder. From beginning
of the season on his team mates nicknamed him "Air Boone Express",
which is well earned. The 27 year old is only one touchdown away from
the team internal record of 8 touchdowns, which is held by WR J?
Heckenbach, although done over 6 seasons.
