Premier membership
Premier membership entitles you to a 25% discount on all fitness
classes. It costs £15 for 12 months. Application forms are available on the
website.

The Wellbeing Room - D Floor, East Block, QMC (next to Anticoagulant
Clinic).
Dundee House – St Francis Way, opposite Yellow entrance (City).
Entrance through the grey door to the left of the building.
Physio Gym – P1 Corridor, past the café and turn left (City).
Sherwood Hall – South corridor, near Green entrance (City).

QMC – Physio Gym, A Floor, East Block - open Mon -Thurs 4pm-8pm
(and Wed 12.30pm-1.30pm)
£2.50 single session/£20 ten sessions/£15 per month (go to General
Office, QMC or Finance Office, St Francis Unit, City)
Other activities



Running courses – Couch to 5k for beginners and new runners & an
Improvers course. £10 per 8 week course. Contact us for more details.
Pedometer Challenge - a 6 week team challenge to walk as many steps
as you can. Various dates throughout the year.

Abs Express - 30 minutes of lunchtime of abdominal toning (and
lower back) using hula-hoops, fit balls and mat based exercises.
Nothing too sweaty, so no need to change.

Circuits - a 40 minute class aimed at burning fat and using your own
body weight to get in shape fast. Perfect for a quick lunchtime workout
to get you ready for the weekend.

Fitness Yoga - improves flexibility, core stability (balance) and
strength through Yoga postures, Pilates exercises and deep stretches
without tying yourself in knots! (Includes 10 minutes relaxation).

Pilates - Pilates is an exercise system that focuses on stretching and
strengthening the whole body to improve balance, muscle-strength,
flexibility and posture.

Pump-Fx Conditioning- Using weighted body bars and free weights,
this class provides a fun, progressive, complete-body workout to
amazing chart and club anthems. Suitable for everyone! Fire up the
metabolism and get ready to party in and out of class!

Tai Chi – this relaxing class will encourage you to let go of stress and
become more aware of your own body. The focus is on slow,
controlled movements, which over time increases flexibility, muscle
strength, balance and co-ordination. The gentle stretching and
breathing exercises of Qi Gong help improve lung function, increasing
energy and reducing stress.

Yoga - a series of stretches to increase flexibility and increase
strength. Breathing exercises and relaxation complete the class to give
an all-round boost to physical and mental wellbeing.
