‘Player of the Year’ and ‘Player of the Month’ Awards Criteria ‘Player of the Year’ Award The criteria for selection will be: a) dedication and passion towards the game in training and
matches, b) Match performances both in terms of results and 110% effort, c) Technical and
Tactical improvements over a calendar year. The players name will be added to the shield
and receive a commemorative award ‘Player of the Month’ Award The criteria for selection of a player of the month will be: a) Most improved player, b)
dedication and passion for the game, c) Results achieved where applicable, d)
effort/determination shown in squad lessons. A player will hold the shield for the month and
receive a tennis related prize/award.
Decision process
. The players/candidates for consideration will be nominated and decided by the coaches of
