2015 People’s Choice Community Lottery
Terms and Conditions
1.
The Lottery is conducted by People’s Choice Community Foundation Ltd (ABN 97 154 717 987) of 60 Light Square,
Adelaide 5000 under license issued by the Office of Liquor and Gaming in South Australia, the Victorian Commission for
Gambling Regulation, the ACT Gambling and Racing Commission, and under special dispensation granted by the Minister
of Racing and Gaming, Northern Territory.

The Lottery is conducted under regulations governing Major Lotteries as published by the Government of South Australia
the Victorian Commission for Gambling Regulation, NSW Office of Liquor Gaming and Racing and the ACT Gambling and

100% of all proceeds benefit participating Charities, Community Groups, Sporting Clubs, Schools and Pre-Schools.
5.
Ticket sales open from 17 March 2015 and close on 18 September 2015.
6.
There are 900,000 tickets issued at a cost of $2.00 each.
7.
Tickets are available for purchase from participating organisations within the State of South Australia, Victoria, Australian
Capital Territory and the Northern Territory.
8.
Tickets are also available to be purchased online at www.communitylottery.com.au nominating the participating
organisation to where 100% of the purchase is to be directed.
9.
The following persons are ineligible to purchase tickets for themselves or on behalf of any other person:



Office holders and employees of People’s Choice Community Foundation Limited;
The nominee for the raffle; and
Relatives of office holders of People’s Choice Community Foundation Limited (means spouse (including de facto
spouse), parent, child or sibling (whether of full or half blood).
10.
Information collected from ticket purchases is solely for the purpose of informing prize winners and shall not be used for
any other purpose.
11.
Tickets purchased online on or before midnight, 30 April 2015 are entered into the draw for the early bird prize which will
be drawn on Wednesday 13 May 2015 at 60 Light square Adelaide at 11am. Result will be published in the Adelaide
Advertiser and our website www.communitylottery.com.au on Friday 15 May 2015.

The draw for all other prizes as published will take place on Tuesday 20 October 2015 at 60 Light Square Adelaide at
11am. Results will be published in the Adelaide Sunday Mail and on our website, www.communitylottery.com.au, on
Sunday 25 October 2015.
13.
All prizes are valued at the manufacturers recommended retail price. A full list of prizes are listed on our website
www.communitylottery.com.au.
14.
In the event of a prize no longer being available at the conclusion of the lottery or not available in the state of residence
the prize winner shall be offered an alternative prize at the same or greater recommended retail value.
15.
All unsold, lost and unaccounted tickets are removed from the draw and therefore ineligible to win prizes.
16.
Prize winners shall be notified in writing within four days of the draw, advising claiming and collection of prizes. Prizes
may have to be collected from a nominated retail outlet. Where this is not reasonably possible we will make alternative
arrangements with the prize winner for the collection of their prize.
17.
Prizes are strictly as advertised and cannot be exchanged for cash.
18.
REFUND POLICY - There will be no refund or exchange on any ticket purchased in the People’s Choice Community Lottery.
19.
Chances of winning a prize in the Community Lottery are 1:5660.
20.
When purchasing tickets online, the ticket purchaser will have the option to receive ticket numbers via email or to print a
copy of the ticket numbers.
