CONGRATULATIONS to Andrew Pridham as Chairman of the Swans from next February 2014.
SWANS v ADELAIDE
Our biggest crowd (including 2 week old William Roberts) packed the Bluewater Room to witness and
cheer a never to be forgotten performance with outstanding games by Dan Hannebery (again). Young Tom
Mitchell was a worthy nominee for the Rising Star award. The raffle was won by Paul Lorini and the
members draw was unclaimed as Tom Cooke was not present. A great job and thank you goes to Ross
Treverton our host for the night.
SWANS v PORT ADELAIDE
Disappointing game in many ways with a number of players “down” and with Adam Goodes injury. Few
positives apart from Kurt Tippett showing good signs for what is ahead, Keiran Jack, as usual, giving 101%,
Nick Malceski continuing on his outstanding season and solid games from the young ones in Tom Mitchell
and Dane Rampe.
SOMS met at the Rye Hotel and welcomed a new member in Luke Cooling with Maria Grinzi and Alice
Knight winning the raffles and Ken Marks taking home the $70.00 members draw. Thank you once again to
Ross Treverton for his host role at half time.
BEST WISHES to SOMS members Peter Roberts and Barbara Hardy, not only celebrating Peter’s birthday,
on the 6th July, but also their wedding.
