you will be comparing submitted CORs. It is
recommended you download these descriptors to
your desktop or print a set for your convenience
during the review process. Descriptors are available
at http://www.c-id.net/descriptors.html

When a course is assigned to you, an automatic
email from the C-ID website will be sent to you.
Once you receive a message, you can log into the
C-ID website to see your course assignments and
begin reviewing courses.
Automated messages only go out once a week
(Mondays). Reviewers are encouraged to check
back at least once a week to see if they have
courses assigned.
CORs should be reviewed within four weeks. The
date is listed on your course assignment list

The Articulation
Officer may enter
comments related to
textbooks on the COR
when they submit or
resubmit a course if
there is updated
textbook information
not included on the
submitted COR. This
is where you might
find that newer
textbooks are being
used than are
reflected on the COR.
Information in this
area should be taken
into consideration
during your review of
textbook
appropriateness.



Once you make all your comments, you will
need to select an overall recommendation.
Your choices are:
 Approved, Conditionally Approved, or
Not Approved. Please see the C-ID
Norming and Training Document for
descriptions of each of these (p. 7 - 8).
If you select Conditionally Approved or Not
Approved, you must include a final
comment.
Course Evaluation Form



After making an overall recommendation
and making a final comment when
necessary, you can either save the record
and return or submit the review.
Your submission will go to the Primary
Reviewer.
Once the Primary Reviewer is finished, the
course will either go public or back to the
Articulation Officer.
Conditionally or Not Approved



If a course has been conditionally approved or not
approved, it will be sent back to the submitting
Articulation Officer who then has a year to resubmit a
revised COR.
When an Articulation Officer resubmits a course where
you were the original reviewer, it will automatically
return to your list. You would then only be able to
review the areas that needed correction and verify
concerns have been addressed. Your previous
comments will be visible.
You would follow the same process as you initially did
in the first review.

Training Resource Document on
pages 6 – 8 for more
information on comparing the
CORs against the descriptors
and samples of constructive
comments.
