Professional Qualifications
Responsible for the collection and analysis of evidence to contribute to the arrest and prosecution of persons
suspected of criminal activities. Duties include interviews and interrogations of suspects as well as detailed report
writing. Tasks include general criminal investigations, vice and narcotic investigations, child sex crimes, gang crimes
and criminal intelligence. In the event of a major crime being reported, i.e., murder, rape, robbery, or any incident
that may have a substantial adverse impact on the community, detectives will respond and investigate said crimes.

Specialties

Assists various facets of Law Enforcement Investigations by conducting forensic audio and
video analyses and computer forensics for the Garden City Police Department.

Instrumental in development of program that was initiated in December 2009

Has conducted hundreds of analyses, which have led to the capture of numerous suspects
who would have otherwise gone undetected.

Aided other agencies with such analysis, which has led to convictions, including murder
cases.

Logged 3,000 hours on the computer and audio/video analysis system.

Continual training in the field to stay current with developing technology and techniques.
