Apptical Mobile app instructions

Why Use Apptical Mobile?
• Apptical Mobile will reduce the Apptical phone interview
process by up to 5 minutes.
• When you use the Apptical Mobile app you will take a photo
of the client’s state photo ID to obtain customer information.
When you submit the photo in the app the information is sent
to Apptical and entered into the application so the phone
interviewer will not have to ask some of the basic customer
information questions.
• Mutual of Omaha is proud to be the only carrier using the
Apptical Mobile app at this time.
NOTE: Apptical Mobile is only available for iPhones at this time
Downloading the Apptical Mobile App
• Go to the Apple store and search
Appticalmobile.
• Select “Get.”
• Put in your Apple store password and
download the app.
• Select “Open.”
Getting Started with Apptical Mobile
• In the app for your initial setup click
“Sign up.”
• The next time you use the app you
will need to select “Log in” and enter
your username and password.

• Choose your method of validation:
NPN, License or SSN.

• Complete the corresponding screen.
Creating an Account
• Create your account by
completing the required
fields. If your number is
not found you will
receive the first error
screen. This will need to
be corrected before
moving forward with
registration.

• Your first and last name
used to register with
Apptical must match the
name used to register
with NIPR; if they don’t
match you will receive
the first error screen.
This must be corrected
before you can continue
registering with
Apptical.

• After your first and last
name is entered you will
receive a text message
with a verification code
that will need to be
entered. After
submitting you will be
able to login using the
app.
Using Apptical Mobile
• As a first time user you will see the End
User License Agreement. Click “Agree.”
• You will see this agreement at initial
setup, if you need to reinstall the app or
if the End User License Agreement
changes.
Using Apptical Mobile
• After you login you will have two
options:
1. “Call Me Now” initiates a request for
an Apptical interviewer to call you.
The normal interview process will be
followed when you are called.

2. “Call Me Now with IDLegit” also
initiates a request for an Apptical
interviewer to call you however, the
interviewer will already have the
application you’ve selected (by
company/product/state) created and it
is pre-populated with the customer’s
information supplied by the photo ID.
Using Apptical Mobile
• Search for United of
Omaha in the search bar,
select and click “Next.”
• Select Living Promise and
click “Next.”

• Select your language and
click “Next.”
• Select the state the product
is being sold in, click “Next.”
• These screens will only show
the states and languages
available for Living Promise.

• Take a photo of the front of
the Proposed Insured’s
Photo ID.
• You have the option to edit
and crop the photo if
necessary.
Using Apptical Mobile
• When you are satisfied
with the photo click “Next.”
• Hover the camera over the
barcode on the back of the
ID and it will automatically
capture the information.

• If there isn’t a barcode or
the barcode is unreadable
you can skip this step by
selecting “Skip this step,
barcode does not exist.”

• Review the applicant’s information.
This will show you what information will
be pre-populated on the application.
Click “Submit.”
• Please be aware, some states are not
in compliance with the barcode
standard so some data may be
incomplete. You are unable to edit this
information, this is screen is for review
only.
Next Steps…
• Once you click “Submit” your customer’s information will be
sent to Apptical.
• An Apptical interviewer is notified to call you to begin the
interview. The interviewer will already have the application
you’ve selected (by company/product/state) created and it will
be pre-populated with the customer’s information supplied by
the photo ID.
• You follow the normal Apptical interview process.
