Borova earns NJAC Player of the Week honors after averaging 24.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 6.5
assists, and 5.5 steals per game in a 2-0 week of play for William Paterson. In the first conference
game of her junior season, she finished just one assist shy of a triple-double after producing 18
points, nine assists, three steals, and a game-high 10 rebounds during the Pioneers’ 63-51 NJAC
victory over TCNJ. Four days later, she produced a career-high 30 points, along with eight steals,
eight rebounds, and four assists in a 65-51 non-conference road win at Stevens. Borova currently
is tied for the NJAC lead in scoring with an average of 20.0 points per game.
ROOKIE of the Week

Freshman • Guard • Irvington, NJ/Irvington
Simmons earns NJAC Rookie of the Week honors after helping Rutgers-Newark open conference
play with a 58-44 NJAC victory over rival Rutgers-Camden. Starting the first conference game of
her collegiate career in place of injured all-conference guard ShaQuanna Marshall, she tallied 13
points, six steals, three rebounds, and one assist during a contest in which Camden was held to just
.175 shooting from the field. Simmons currently ranks sixth in the NJAC in steals (3.3 per game).
