known for strong technique & player development. She is Impact certified, SafeSport certified, & has completed the CAP I
training. She is scheduled to take Beach Impact & Beach CAP I this summer. Her philosophy for coaching volleyball is to
develop players for life while teaching them Respect for self & others, Ownership of speech & action, Accountability for
speech & action, & Responsibility both on & off the court (ROAR).
Assistant Coaches:
Lora Ekum is regularly part of the Kettle Moraine School District staff and a strong supporter of all things Lasers. She played
nd
3 years on varsity in High School as a defensive specialist & setter finishing 2 in state her junior year and taking the state
championship with her team senior year. She has continued to play competitively since, staying current on volleyball
nd
trends and supporting area teams. Her son is a member of the 2 in state 2015 boys’ volleyball team at KM and her
enthusiasm for the game is contagious.
Colleen DeLisle will be joining the coaching staff on Mondays, Tuesdays, & Wednesdays as a junior assistant coach. She is a
sophomore at KM & was a regular starter for the girls’ varsity team. She has played Setter/Opposite & OH at the high
school level & S/Opp, OH, & Middle at the club level. She made the JVA watchlist as a 15s player, was selected to the
Badger Region High Performance training team this past summer, is playing with the Under Armour/Volleyball Factory team
at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs this Christmas Break, & currently plays club ball for Milwaukee Sting 17s.
Our goal is to train players to love the game, play competitively, and to be prepared for the game at the JV &
Varsity level in high school. To this end, KM varsity coaches & additional players will be joining us for tryouts &
occasional practices to encourage all players & provide continuity for the program.
