Baseball Memorabilia Collection
for Sale to Highest Bidder
A library supporter has donated his extensive collection of baseball memorabilia to the Friends of the Marshall Library. Items include autographed balls, autographed photos, player cards, pennants, Word Series programs, and more, totaling several hundred items. This collection will be offered at a silent and blind auction to take place during the Friends of the Marshall Library Book Sale, May 12th 8am -1pm
and May 13th 8am - 3pm. The collection will sell as a unit. NO pieces will be sold separately.
The collection has not been formally authenticated.
Those who wish to bid must submit their sealed bid to a Friends representative in an envelope during the
Book Sale, or mail it to the Friends for arrival no later than May 13 th. Bids received after May 13th post will
not be opened.
Please mail bids to: Friends of the Marshall Library, 605 Waterloo Rd, Marshall WI 53559. The winning bidder must pay in CASH within 3 days (by May 17th). The collection will be released to the winning bidder only
after payment has been received. We reserve the right to reject bids under fair market value.
The baseball memorabilia collection may be viewed in the Marshall Library’s locked display case from now
until May 13th during normal library hours (M,T,W 9-7, Th,F 9-5, Sat 9-3). While no one will be allowed to
touch the items, an inventory of all pieces in the collection is available. Photocopies of some individual cards
and autographed items can be viewed.
