Detailed Course Description for Syntera Customization Suite Open Perso v5.1 SDK Training TE1425 General Information The SCS Open Perso SDK training is intended to provide training to Datacard Authorized Developers and is a requirement of the AD program. This course is also intended to provide training to internal Datacard CI developers. The course will be taught using the C# language. Course Length: 3 days Intended Audience: Developers within the Authorized Developers program and internal Datacard CI developers. Prerequisites: Student’s employer must be pursuing Authorized Developer status or be an internal Datacard employee. Student must be proficient in C#. Student should have general smart card knowledge. The student doesn’t need knowledge of Datacard solutions, but does need to understand the concepts/architecture surrounding smart cards. The student must bring a laptop with Visual Studio 2005 installed. Course Synopsis: To instruct software developers on developing SCS Open Perso applications. This course is not intended to teach a student how to write smart card applications for particular smart card schemes/implementations but is intended to teach the student how to use the SCS Open Perso API. The course incorporates several exercises and labs that allow the student the opportunity to write simple smart card applications and to use several features of the SCS Open Perso API while in a classroom setting. Note: this course will simulate smart card personalization as it does not cover the SmartWare SDK training that is needed to create the necessary .sre application for actual smart card personalization.
