Role: Member Happiness Manager (or Member Experience Manager or President of PR's or
Member Appreciation Manager). You get to choose!
Goal of the Role: To maintain retention of our membership base in a range of 70-80% and to
ensure that our members are the happiest they can be. To assist in giving our members the
absolute BEST fitness experience in Indianapolis.
Who we are looking for: A charismatic individual, who has marketing savvy, people skills, and an
ability to aggregate, analyze and act on data. The Member Happiness Manager will help develop
the experience for every member at NapTown to live their best lives in (and possibly outside) of the
NapTown walls. This role includes, but not limited to, working out daily (5 days a week), going to
coffee/ food "dates" with our members, calling, emailing and writing to members we appreciate
and/or haven't seen in a while and maintaining rapport with both our coaching staff AND our
members. This individual should be proficient in Excel (pulling reports) and have a background in
sales or client management. A plus is photography skills, marketing skills, and event management
knowledge. We are looking for someone willing to be active, outgoing, fun and curious. If this

Job Responsibilities:
 Attend all locations and programs regularly (1 class minimum each day), varying times to
keep a pulse on our membership base and clients.
 Follow up with current clients (PR's, birthdays, mourning losses, etc.) as well as clients we
haven’t seen in awhile (due to injury, lack of interest etc.)
 Pull reports daily/ weekly on our numbers. Looking into the most effective metrics to track
success (ex. class attendance, daily attendance, program attendance, utilization of
membership, etc.)
 Help aggregate/create content for our marketing streams (ex. come up with ideas for blog
posts, help take pictures and videos of client successes and stories, etc.)
 Manage member experience: What are you hearing they want? What are you hearing that's
not working? Where are you seeing a decline in interest or engagement? What actions
can we take to resolve that or should we shift course?
 Create standards of procedures for onboarding of all NapTown programs. Willingness to
become our expert with Mailchimp.
 If needed, teach 1-4 classes a week

 Projected Start Date: May 30th or June 5th
 Average of 40hrs/week: Full Time Position
