No ASH in Hluhluwe / Imfolozi Game Reserve What a month, worldwide grounding of all international flights and we say we are technologically advanced, once again it is proven that Nature has the upper hand. Hluhluwe / Imfolozi Game Reserve has been spectacular , Black Rhino , Wild Dog hunting Wildebeest , Lion Kills , Leopard , Elephants galore & Cheetah to mention just but a few of the sightings this month. The Sighting for the month undoubtedly must have been the Wild Dogs (19) hunting a Wildebeest. The scene unfolded in front of both our game rangers Trevor and Jacques, this spectacular wildlife scene of a pack of Wild Dogs working together proves their strength and cunningness. What a privilege to have witnessed this. Trevor & Jacques both are passionate about the bush and this is evident in their recorded sightings and feedback from our clients. Jacques Photo Gallery has grown tremendously have a look at the gallery www.gamereservehluhluwe.com Jacques top sighting for the month included a Leopard in Imfolozi close to Sontuli; the Elusive Leopard was seen crossing the road in broad daylight, Picture of the month Male Lion in Imfolozi 3 km before the Centenery Centre the male was accompanied by 4 females. Trevor’s sighting for the month included a Python of approximately 3.5 meters, Sighted in Imfolozi just before Umganu and the Wild Dog, Wildebeest hunt. As we approach winter the park’s water reserves become limited thus increasing sightings in certain areas, water the key to the survival of all Nature is the hot spot and tip for the month.
