FOR HOLDING OF THE THIRTEENTH FIELD-DAY OF TEACHERS WITH
INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION
04 - 09 July, 2017, Grand Hotel Varna – “St. St. Constantine and Helena” resort,

Dear colleagues,
Dear friends,
After twelve successfully held field-days with international participation, the Bulgarian
Union of Teachers and Bulgarian Workers’ Federation “Sport and Health” would like to
direct your attention to the next edition of the most significant sports event among the people
that practice the most noble profession.
We are glad that together we will keep the tradition and that by the means of sport, hundreds
of teachers from Bulgaria and foreign countries will manifest their solidarity, tolerance,
syndical unity and friendship without borders.
On behalf of the Bulgarian Union of Teachers and BWF “Sport and Health”, we have the
great pleasure to invite your teams to participate in the XIII Field-day of Teachers with
International Participation, which will be held between July 4th and July 9th, 2017, in St. St.
Constantine and Helena resort under the patronage of Mr. Plamen Dimitrov – President of the
Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria (CITUB), phd Yanka Takeva President of Bulgarian union ob teachers (SEB) and Mrs. Susan Flocken – European
Director of the European Trade Union Committee for Education.
І. Date and place of holding the event
The field-day will be held in Grand Hotel Varna – “St. St. Constantine and Helena” resort,
from 4th to 9th July, 2017, in the following kinds of sports:

ІІ. Requirements for each sport
MINI FOOTBALL
Composition of the teams: Men: 4 players + 1 goalkeeper, 5 substitutes + coach and head of
the team – 12 persons in total.
BEACH VOLLEYBALL
Composition of the teams:
Men: 3 players + 1 substitute + coach and head of the team – 6 persons in total.
Women: 3 players + 1 substitute + coach and head of the team – 6 persons in total.
TABLE TENNIS
Composition of the teams:
Men: 3 players + 1 substitute + coach and head of the team – 6 persons in total.
Women: 2 players + 1 substitute + coach and head of the team – 5 persons in total.
CHESS
Composition of the teams:
Men: 3 players + coach and head of the team – 5 persons in total.
Women: 2 players + coach and head of the team – 4 persons in total.
SWIMMING 50m. FREE STYLE
Composition of the teams:
Men: 2 players + coach and head of the team – 4 persons in total.
Women: 2 players + coach and head of the team – 4 persons in total.
Relay 4 х 50м. mixed: 2 men and 2 women + coach and head of the team – 6 persons.
IMPORTANT: competitors should bring their own swimming caps (hats)! Competitors
without swimming caps will not be allowed to participate!
IMPORTANT: points for the complex ranking will be awarded for the men and women team
competitions, and for the relay competitions.
BASKETBALL /STREETBALL/
Composition of the teams:
Men: 3 players + 1 substitute + coach and head of the team – 6 persons in total.
Women: 3 players + 1 substitute + coach and head of the team – 6 persons in total.
TUG of WAR
Composition of the teams:
Mixed: 3 men + 2 women + 2 substitutes (men and women) – 7 persons in total.
DARTS
Composition of the teams:
Men: 2 players + 1 substitute – 3 persons in total.
Women: 2 players + 1 substitute – 3 persons in total.
PETANQUE
Composition of the teams:
Men: 2 players 1 substitute – 3 persons in total.
Women: 2 players 1 substitute – 3 persons in total.
Mixed team: 1 man + 1 woman + 2 substitutes (1 man + 1 woman) – 4 persons in total.

BRIDGE
Composition of the teams:
Men: 2 + 2 players – 4 persons in total.
Women (doubles tournament): 2 players – 2 persons in total.
ІІІ. Right to participation
Teachers and employees who work in the secondary education have the right to participate.
Participants officially listed as players for national teams, or first and second division teams,
as well as full-time university and high-school students, are not eligible for participation.
Players with card-index in the Super League of the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation do not
have the right to participate in the beach volleyball (men and women) competitions.
Only players with FIDE or Bulgarian rating (ELO) in standard chess and rapid chess lower
than 2300 (for men) and 2200 (for women) in the last rating list have right to participate in
the chess competitions. Players with card-index who have participated in A or B group (team
or individual) at a stage of the National Championship for men and women (semifinal or
final) do not have right to participate.
ІV. Documents, registration and accommodation of the participants
The eligibility of players is verified through the following documents:
1. Identity card.
2. A list (two copies) of players in the teams, including the names of coaches, heads of
teams and technical assistants.
3. Insurance “Accident” for every single player for the period of the event.
Registration and accommodation of the teams in hotels will take place on 4th July, 2017,
from 14:00 h. to 19:00 h., at Grand Hotel Varna.
The check-up of documents will be during the technical conference, which will be held at
20:00 h., on 4th July, 2017, at Grand Hotel Varna, St. St. Constantine and Helena.
V. Violations, complaints and penalties
In case of a violation of the requirements of the present Regulation or the competitive
regulations of the respective sports federations, the affected parties have the right to file
contestations through their leader to the main referee for the respective kind of sport and the
other affected party, immediately after the finish of the game in which they have participated
and for which they have claims. Contestations that have been filed late, namely contestations
filed over 1 hour after the finish of the game (competition) will not be considered. Fee for
filing a contestation - 25 Euro.
The proof for competitors that do not have the right to participate should be submitted by the
team that has filed a complaint, and violations of referee’ character are being decided by the
management of the field-day.
In case of gross violation, the competition’ management may suspend and déclassé the whole
team.
In case a team does not show up for 50 % of the games, said team will be disqualified and
will not bring points for the complex ranking.
VI. Awards
Participants in the event, on the grounds of team, individual and complex ranking will be
given the following awards:
а) Team ranking:
- The teams in every sport ranked in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place are awarded cups and medals golden, silver and bronze.
- The teams ranked in 4th, 5th and 6th place are awarded plaques.

Please note: Each country, club, organization has the right to participate with unlimited
number of teams in each kind of sport, but only the team ranked highest brings points for the
complex ranking.
b) Individual ranking:
- For the sports table tennis, chess, swimming and darts, the first three players in the
ranking will be awarded medals - golden, silver and bronze.
Please note: Individual competitions do not bring points for the complex ranking!
c) Complex ranking:
- Sports clubs ranked in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place (by measure of total points from all kinds
of sports up to sixth place), will be awarded with “complex winner” cups - 1st, 2nd and 3rd
place.
Please note: The complex ranking is being determined by the total number of points won in
all team competitions. Team competitions bring the following number of points: For 1st place
– 7 points, for 2nd place – 5 points, for 3rd place - 4 points, for 4th place – 3 points, for 5th
place – 2 points, for 6th place – 1 point. Only the results of one team (men and women) in
each kind of sport are being considered for the ranking of each country, club, organization.
d) Fair play cup: one team (separately for men and women), that has adhered to the
conditions and requirements of sports morality, mutual respect, sportsmanship, culture
and mutual aid during the competitions will be awarded with a cup.
All participants in the field-day will be given souvenirs. Photos from the competitions by
sports, as well as the ranking in the separate sports disciplines and the complex ranking will
be available for download at the web site of BWF “Sport and Health”: www.bwsf-bg.org
VІІ. Financial conditions
All participants will be accommodated at the following 4 stars hotels at Grand Hotel Varna
complex: Rubin, Dolphin, Dolphin Marina and Lebed.
 Participation fee for accommodation of a person in single room for the period of the
field-day – 310 euro.
 Participation fee for accommodation of a person in double room for the period of the
filed-day – 230 euro.
The participation fee includes: night’s lodging, meals on an “all inclusive” basis (breakfast,
lunch, dinner on a “Swedish table”, including non-alcoholic drinks and Bulgarian alcoholic
drinks), medical service, referees’ fees, cups and medals, multimedia service, souvenirs,
prizes etc.
Participants can arrive earlier than 04.07.2017 and depart later than 09.07.2017 under
the following accommodation conditions:
- 58 Euro per person per night in single room
- 42 Euro per person per night in double room
Transfer: Varna airport – Grand Hotel Varna – Varna airport - € 20 per person.
We inform you that the distance between Sofia and “St. St. Constantine and Helena” seaside
resort is 500 kilometers and also that the organizers of the event do not provide transfer for
delegations arriving in Sofia. Having this in mind, please arrange your travel directly to the
city of Varna, where we will meet you and transfer you to “St. St. Constantine and Helena”
seaside resort.

Teams or players who do not use our accommodation services should pay a once-only
participation fee of 60 euro per person.
Simultaneously with submitting your application (deadline: 08.05.2017), a bank transfer
payment of 50 or 100 % of the sum should be effected to the following bank account:

Payment details: Participation in the Teachers’ Event
Beneficiary: BWF “Sport and Health”
The application is considered valid only in case of a bank transfer of at least 50 % of the
total amount due before May 8th, 2017.
VІIІ. Cancellation of reservations
As a result of the signed contracts for accommodation, BWF “Sport and Health” introduces
the following system of reimbursement in case of cancellation of reservations made:
In case of cancellation of applications for reservation before 03.06.2017 –
BWF “Sport and Health” reimburses the whole amount to the client.
In case of cancellation of applications for reservation from 04.06.2017 to
03.07.2017 - BWF “Sport and Health” keeps amount equal to 1 night’s stay for every
cancelled reservation.
In case of cancellation of applications for reservation from 04.07.2017
onwards - BWF “Sport and Health” keeps 100 % of the total amount.
