Course Description
Students will view and respond to a variety of films and television shows
representing various eras and genres. Assigned reading will include reference
materials regarding the history of film and TV, genres, and formal analysis of
visual media. Students will be expected to take notes in class one these topics
as well. Writing assignments will include a formal analysis of the merit of a
film or TV show. Prerequisite: Junior status
