$500 Community Service Scholarship
Scholarship Objective
Altra Federal Credit Union believes being a good community member means giving something back. That’s why
we’ve established a foundation that offers scholarships to reward young members with a demonstrated history
of community involvement.
Applicants must:
• Be graduating from high school in 2017
• Be a member of Altra Federal Credit Union
• Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher
• Be attending a 2- or 4-year college in the Fall of 2017
• Submit two letters of recommendation; one from school, one from a service project.
• Submit a complete, signed application to the Guidance Office by Wednesday, March 1, 2017.
Application deadline is Wednesday, March 1, 2017
Please return application to your High School Guidance Office. Applications will not be accepted at Altra branch offices.
Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Please attach applicant’s transcript or other document showing student’s cumulative GPA.
